Our company handcrafts all house numbers and raw wood letters within 7 days of receiving your order. We manufacture all orders each week and ship out on Wednesdays – unless there is a holiday – in which case we will ship out on Thursday. If you ordered painted black wooden letters, there will be an additional 1-2 weeks production time.
Oftentimes, orders process faster than that but we can’t guarantee a faster processing time.
Made to Order vs. Pre-Made?
Both are handmade. All our items are Made to Order which means we custom cut each order and this takes a little longer for your item to be created for you.
The product(s) you receive might vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of your product(s) being 100% handmade to order.
The house numbers are made from Aluminum composite material. If you look closely on the edge, you’ll see there are 2 outer layers of shiny material, which is the aluminum(which is a metal). This aluminum is painted, and designed to stand up to the elements. In between them is a layer of plastic. This material is used North America wide in the sign industry, and is rated for outdoor use. So while they are light in weight, this is not necessarily indicative of the quality. There are actually several advantages to being light in weight
1- They are easy and economical to ship. saving you money
2- Should they ever fall, being light in weight they are much less likely to damage anything (or anybody) they fall onto
3. Will Not Rust

Cost of Shipping calculations
We offer free shipping to Canada and USA on all orders(except custom). We don’t like surprise shipping charges at checkout any more than you do.
Selecting expedited shipping during checkout means a faster shipping service. It does not ensure a faster processing time. Your product may still need 2-7 business days to be handmade.
Our return policy:
- Contact us within: 3 days of delivery
- Ship items back within: 21 days of delivery
If 21 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Personalized and/or customized goods are exempt from being returned unless the product arrives defective.
* Gift cards are also non-returnable.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 21 days after delivery
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds:
- If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
- Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for a different size, send us an email to Brian@MyLetterCut.com and send your item to the appropriate mailing address below.
